Posterous now Posterous Spaces?!

Recently, Posterous changed the name of their blogging platform and updated their blogging concept to become Posterous Spaces. Posterous was a blogging tool that made it very simple to create your own blog site or private blog group. The key feature of this blogging tool was that once your blog was all set, you could simply post to your new blog via e-mail. Posterous would automatically make your posts web-friendly. Another great feature Posterous has, is it’s feature to AutoPost your blog posts and updates anywhere, including Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Tumblr, WordPress, YouTube, and more. Making it very convenient to “Post once and share everywhere” (As written on Posterous.com ) This awesome blogging tool made it easy to post and share with even the ability to create public and private sites and groups.

Posterous Spaces still has those key features. However, instead of creating sites and groups, you create spaces which can be private or public. Public spaces allow everyone to see your space. Each private space allows you to invite people to your space and share with the people you want. (Password Protected spaces are available also) There is no limit to how many spaces you can make. Make as many as you want for every social group in your life from your co-workers to your family to even your weekend game buddies.

Beyond that, Posterous Spaces (Even when it was called Posterous) allows you to fully customise your theme with HTML, CSS, or choose from their ready-made themes. (One of my favorite features) It also allows you create your own profile to let others know more about you,  has an easy to use new dashboard (Supported in most browsers, however some browsers will still show the old Posterous dashboard), and great apps for the iPhone and Android that allow you to post on the go. Posterous was an awesome blogging site and it just got better. So, say  goodbye to Posterous and say hello to Posterous Spaces! :D
